Earlier this week, we caught wind of a new collaboration between PlayStation, Nike, and NBA baller Paul George. A brand new set of basketball shoes will be available to purchase soon, inspired by the design of Sony's PS5 console. They look pretty neat, with a similar colour scheme to the curvy machine, and the DualSense's textured PlayStation symbols are echoed on the sneakers too.
If you're interested in owning a pair, the shoes will be available in "select regions" starting from 14th May. However, if you're not in one of these territories, getting your hands feet on them might be a little more difficult. Fortunately, basketball fans the world over come away with a consolation prize: the shoes are coming to NBA 2K21.
So, whether you want these sneakers in real life or you want the LA Clippers player rocking them in-game, your options are covered. There's more information on the shoes over on the PlayStation Blog, if you're interested.
Will you be nabbing the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway sneakers, or will a digital version suffice? Play ball in the comments section below.

Not my cup of tea but can see these being popular with the youngsters. Another nice little marketing promo stunt by Sony who seem to have flipped all that negative news around a few week back and seem to be making good decisions lately.
I would like a pair of those shoes but I know that I would immediately step in puddle after leaving my house. Plus I’m old
I love this site but I'm sorry - sneakers !!!
I love our cousins across the pond but we are being americanised (*note the use of an 's' and not a 'zed) over here enough as it is.
@hypnotoad What do you call them in the UK?
@Voltan Trainers mate.
@hypnotoad Right, thanks
Pandemic P ✌️
not that much of a fan
I'm not a fan of American sport but if I had a gun to me head then I'd say basketball is the least objectionable.
We've been to a game twice on our visits to The U.S of A and the size of these blokes is frightening.
these are benchwarmer shoes in my-park .
@hypnotoad they’re “trainers” here in Australia too! 😸
I’d buy ‘em, but you can be guaranteed we won’t get them down under. You know, like PS Now. 😒
They are trainers 99% of the time unless im sneaking around the warehouse at work and jumping out on unsuspecting members of staff. They then turn in to sneakers.
About time for playoff p and another disappearing act. And hopefully the lakers continue to lose as well. Cannot stand Lebron James.
How are Orlando Magic getting on ?
@hypnotoad struggling. Traded best players Vucavic to the Bulls and Fournier to celtics, injuries have hurt Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Foltz. Cole Anthony is a bit of a bright spot probably at best a decent roll player in the future though, not a starting caliber pg.
@Rondoooo9 The first time we saw The Magic, Dwight Howard was the star player.
The last time we saw them it was some little bloke whose name escapes me.
No thanks Nike.
